Sunday Schick shave, July 14th 2024 Razor : Stick Schick injector theme variant. Mfg 1973, mild range. Interesting theme Schick injector. I always like to use this one because it kind of reminds me of my youth growing up racing our old cars. Had a close comfortable shave this morning. Blade : SChick injector(1) Sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity. Soap : Razorock M.F croap, nice fragranced soap with excellent lather qualities. Brush : Yaqi " Mountain lake" 24mm 2band badger. Excellent lather generator, pillow like soft tips, nice Splay scrubber + great lather painter. Very nice brush to work my beard area with a decent badger knot and handle. Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area. Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups. Post shave : Razorock M.F splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless). Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Stick Schick injector with a SChick injector blade. Have some great shaves!

SE SOTD, Sunday, July 21 2024 Razor : Yaqi SE Excalibur with a Yaqi Milano 316SSP handle. Mfg 2021>, tame mid range. Small head parts make for a nimble shave with great results. I like to assemble the Excalibur on a wash cloth just for convenience because of small parts. Had a close comfortable shave this morning. Blade : Schick proline (4) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity. Soap : Razorock XXX Fresco, nice clean cologne XXX scent with excellent lather qualities. Brush : Yaqi "Mysterious space" 24mm 3band silvertip badger. Excellent lather generator, luxury pillow like soft tips. Nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. Very enjoyable badger brush + one of my favorites. Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area. Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups. Post shave : Razorock XXX Fresco with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless). Excellent stamping technolgy for that time period to make a decent razor. i modified mine so to manually install blades or injecto either way. I prefer the manual way to rinse and dry better. Had a close comfortable shave this morning. Blade : SChick injector(6) sharp and smooth with good longevity. Soap : Razorock Irish Countryside, nice scented soap with excellent lather qualities. Brush : Yaqi " Rainbow" 26mm brown whiskers synthetic. Excellent lather generator, luxury cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. Big handle + excellent knot make for a great brush for my shaving needs. Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area. Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups. Post shave : Razorock Irish Countryside spalash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
