    Trying to identify this razor name is gone off of tang

    You might be able to get a charcoal rubbing off the tang.

    Thinking about purchasing this one can't get a rubbing. But thank you for the info. I will remember that if I get one and need to see what it is

    Looking closer, it appears to say Hall's Razor Works. Might be a reference to Jonathan Hall, a razor manufacturer in Sheffield from 1795-1830. Think it could be that old?
