Friday 23/08/24 (afternoon) Razor Gillette Super Speed X3 Blade New Astra Platinum Pre-Shave Hot Shower Brush Synthetic B&B Chubby Cream Mitchells Wool Fat Aftershave Proraso Menthol & Eucalyptus Todays Shave was a mild one. The Super Speed black X3 (1952) is a mild razor in this family. Maybe on par with with the regular flare tip SS I have not compared it to the Flare tip rocket GB. This razor needed a third pass to touch up with me (but we are all different) The Beard&Blade Synthetic Chubby is great Highly Recommended (As one of our member said "It should lather like a beast" And it does. thanks Joe, it just seems to be that way with the SE, maybe a closer shave than with a DE, giving my skin more recovery time? could be wrong of course.........! SSS super schick shave, thanks Joe!
One switch from yesterday's shave-I brought out A.S.-Mennen Skin-Bracer as it is a little warmer today. Clean and clear shave in most areas, but I missed a couple spots. I got them AFTER the shave, so I'm good. Let's see if I get those same spots DURING tomorrow's soap shave...would be nice. I came close to a Niagra Falls spill while pouring out the aftershave, but it ended up OK. The more the merrier, as I can smell that nice Skin-Bracer fragrance whereas previously I couldn't smell it that well. One pass. No cuts, Knicks, Polka-dots. Very Outstanding.

Straight Razor Shave #570 J A Henckels Friodur Omega Pro 49 Boar Brush Stirling Spice SS and AS Stirling Alum Block Personal Care Witch Hazel Beard Growth: 39 hrs Had a wonderful error-free 3 pass shave. Stirling always performs well and today was no exception. Here's my lather: There wasn't any alum feedback except for one zing. Splashed on my witch hazel and that matching aftershave and I am good to go. Take care.
