The Morning Shave.
The Lord Platinum Super Stainless blade was in my Gillette British Rocket FlareTip 1950’s today.

The Lord blade is manufactured in the Middle East. Lord Precision Industries formerly known as Wilkinson Sword Middle East.
This is a very smooth sharp blade. Not too sharp, so fine as a daily shav blade for myself.
Blade feel was effortless. No weepers or any irritation from a full head and face shave.

Still enjoy the fresh citrus scent from the Wilkinson Sword soap, for a supermarket soap it is really very nice.

Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: HWF Lanolin Shaving Soap (No.2)
Blade: Personna PTFE SS Injector. (D1)
Razor: Schick G type Injector. 1946-1955.
Razor: Gillette Guard. (Head) - (D1)

Post:

Everything in my shave set up worked together excellently. A wonderful performance from both the vintage Schick G type Injector & Gillette Guard.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of L'0REAL Barber Club Reinforcing ASB.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth & smelling divine.

The Tabac Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #455 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gem Micromatic Bullet Tip Razor and the Personna PTFE SE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Tabac After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

DE SOTD, Tuesday, September 3rd 2024

Razor : Razorock 2nd Generation Lupo.72 SSP. Mfg 2021>, mid range. Excellent design, machining + finish QC. I think for a DE razor with good hand technique + a medium beard this is a wonderful razor I have found. Gives consistent wonderful shaves with any blade it seems that is sharp and smooth and could be a grail razor for some folks IMO. Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning.
Blade : GSB (1) sharp and smoooth with reasonable longevity. Top tier in my den anytime.
Soap : Speick stick, nice mild spicy scent with some of the best quality lather a person can make.
Brush : Yaqi "Red Zebra" 26mm snow leopard synthetic knot. Excellent lather generator, luxury heavenly cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. This is the brush that indicated to me that 26mm synthetic knots are awesome for that face feel we all enjoy but more on the gentler side.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ach Brito Lavanda with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning with my RR Lupo.72 with a GSB. Another excellent shave to start the day off!
