Another winner of a shave, with 2nd day of Sir Hare soap., Stephan Bay Rum A.S. Sir Hare has been added to my "I Can't Be Without This" list. This is my second different SH-I'll have to look at the others, but I've been very happy with my 2 so far. A minute at the Loading Dock to get set up. Clean and clear all over for the shave itself. Goose-eggs with cuts/Knicks/Polka Dots. Nice close from Stephan Bay Rum A.S. No cologne today. As Outstanding As It Gets Success on Barbershop Week Day #2.

Thank you Gary.....the prep I use in the shower is a big help, but Sir Hare is great.

 

Feather Pro blades are definitely the gold star of blades. If memory serves, the only difference between a Pro and Pro Super is the amount of blade exposure when installed. I personally prefer the Pro over the Super, but it's a matter of opinion. People often complain that Feathers are too sharp and aggressive, including the DE blades. To be honest, it's technique that determines how aggressive a blade performs. Yes, sharper blades, or those with more exposure can more quickly cut, or just create more irritation, but with proper technique, light or no pressure, proper angle etc., they provide some of the best, most comfortable shaves. Long live the Feather Pro!

 

I agree. However, Personna Hairshaper Blades are just a tad less sharper than a Feather.
