Early morning shave,

It's Been a while since I last added the Yaqi Katana, and forgot how efficient this single edge is. The assertive Katana is one of the very few razors that I found my shaving angle with after the first 5-7 seconds feeling totally comfortable shaving with it throughout my maiden shave.

The Euromax Platinum Single Edge blade matched together perfectly making a smooth efficient duo.

A efficient close comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Arko Fresh ASB.

My face is feeling cool smooth & smelling divine.

The Vintage Life Morning TOST Shave Soap lathered well with the Semogue 1305 boar brush. Two passes and touch ups with the 1914 Gillette Pocket Edition Razor and the Gillette Super Blue Blade X3 gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Duru Cologne. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

This Mango Sunrise is one of the newer Glacial soaps that Rod released this year and I LOVE it. The scent is so awesome - along with the mango I also pick up some other notes such as cream as well as a bit of musk. Does it ever lather like a champ, it has tons of slickness, there’s a boatload of freezing cold menthol, and it gives wonderful skincare. The Gold Bond moisturizer doesn’t lack menthol either and it’s so soothing - it’s perfect as a balm. Finally the Floid Vigoroso aftershave with its delightful old school barbershop scent and its icy cold menthol kick and I’m good to go. Another great three pass BBS shave - no complaints whatsoever!

Razor : Yaqi SLOPE 316 torsional slant head with a Yaqi tapered brass & nickel coated handle. Mfg 2022>, mild to tame mid range. Excellent design + machining and a decent finish for my shaving needs. Had a close and comfortable shave!
Blade: Perma-sharp (3) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap : Yaqi "The Green" croap, nice scent of a evergreen fresh forest in the spring with a wind throwing scents about is the best way I describe it + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Tail coats" 24mm G5 synthetic knot. Excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + great lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Yaqi The Green splash with witch hazel+ a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi Slope with a Perma-sharp blade.
