fine flare tip.for me,i find the slim head u.s flare tip and canada market 1965 flare tip rocket more efficient than the 50's versions,they seem to get more done in less time..i still love using the 50's versions though,better plating and slightly heavier so equally enjoyable..

Vintage - Vintage Shave #4 Pre-War Tech 1952 Gillette “Red” Thin Blade (4) Proraso Green Pinaud Clubman I think this old blade is done after 4 fine shaves. I could probably use it one more time but it may start to tug. So, this was the final shave with a 72 year old blade, that performed just wonderfully. There’s not a spot of rust on it after been used for over a week. I did tap-dry it after each use.

'71 Super 109 @6 Treet Platinum (3) The House of Mammoth Kryptonite B+M Cool Splash Yet another great shave with a classic Gillette that in the past I haven't liked all that much. I still prefer the Super 84 for its better balance and maneuverability, but this razor is an excellent shaver in its own right. While not as striking looking as Slims / Fatboys, the Super Adjustables seem to be just a little more efficient. Also really liking the Treet Platinum that I got via the Great Blade Exchange on B&B. The first three shaves I had with it so far have all been smooth and close, with no signs of dulling.
