    goods morning gents
fine shave with the 1940 milord tech

although the plating is a bit worn it's mechanically solid, near perfect in fact
good enough that i am keeping it as it is.
i rarely keep tired looking razors and usually pass them on to replaters
    why? you might ask..
who would want to drive a car that's sat in a field for 50 years?
some folks like "patina" cars, but they are usually rebuilt under the sheetmetal.
i like true survivor cars and rozors,no replates or redo's..
    this razor is my exception.
while the plating is a little patchy on the handle,it's fine everywhere else
probably not perfect when new and mostly thin to begin with,
the nickel plate 1941 "ranger" tech is far more in abundance than this set is
or so i have seen either way..if this was a gold rocket or flare tip it would be gone already..;)
    anyhoo,please excuse the ramble.:D

    Shaving Recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/Bulldog Peppermint & Eucalyptus Shower Gel.

    Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Sagrada Familia Synthetic.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
    Lather: Kent Luxury Shaving Soap.
Blade: Personna PTFE SS Injector. (D1)
    Razor: Parker InjRzr. (Setting 4)

    Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./ Cold Water Face Rinse./Herbs of Bulgaria Lavender ASL./ Cien Sensitive ASB.

    Greetings,

Relaxing autumn equinox Sunday morning shave.

Another close comfortable shave with the Parker InjRzr, which isn't the most assertive of my injector razors, but it always provides a comfortable close shave. Today was no exception.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Cien Sensitive ASB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.;)

Keep safe and enjoy your Sunday ladies & gentlemen.
  8. Another nice result Barry, cool SE shave and pic
  9. Much nicer shave today with the same arsenal as Saturday, except

    Brush-Razorock "400" Plissoft Synthetic

Not quite a minute to load the Pages soap, but close. Clean and clear shave all over. This time, goose-eggs across the board(cuts, Knicks, Polka-dots). 2 passes. Missed a little at the right jawline(under the sideburn), but acceptable. I saw a Hub City video yesterday from a guy who lives here in Massachusetts. Like me, he doesn't have the famous accent. He was doing "Doctorine", a CreedAdventus dupe. I might try that one next, with a CA aftershave dupe(would have to be from a different artisan). Super Duper Outstanding for the shave.

I was long overdue for a face shave so I went with my vintage Engels straight. Three error-free passes gave me a very close and comfortable shave. In keep with Samples September, I brought out Soap Commander Vision. It gave me a slick and creamy lather. Here's my lather:

Had very little alum feedback. Finished with my usual postshave routine with the witch hazel and aftershave. Take care.
