Today I used the Delmy soap like a stick by wetting it and rubbing it all over my face and neck for about 30 seconds, then I wet my Frank Mini synthetic and did I ever get FABULOUS lather that has such a beautiful old school barbershop scent. In India where this soap is from it costs perhaps 50 cents although it’s a very small soap - at first I thought it was a sample when I received it but that’s the size of it - only 50 grams. The Prep provided such a cooling, moisturizing and soothing feeling while the Polar Ice aftershave made me smell like I just got out of a 50s barbershop. Three passes with the brand new Astra Green blade gave me a most enjoyable BBS shave!

Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Kent Luxury Shaving Soap.
Blade: Personna PTFE SS Injector. (D1)
Razor: Parker InjRzr. (Setting 4)

Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./ Cold Water Face Rinse./Herbs of Bulgaria Lavender ASL./ Cien Sensitive ASB.

Relaxing autumn equinox Sunday morning shave.

Another close comfortable shave with the Parker InjRzr, which isn't the most assertive of my injector razors, but it always provides a comfortable close shave. Today was no exception.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Cien Sensitive ASB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

The Morning Shave.
The Sharp Jaws blade was in my 1961 Gillette FatBoy today.
3rd use on the Jaws blade, these blades come double wrapped.

Very nice daily shave, comfortable with no weepers or irritation.
I use the Badger brush once per week, to allow it to dry thoroughly.
I usually use it with Proraso, so it's beginning to keep a little scent in the brush, of the Wood & Spice and Sandalwood.

I was watching a recent upload of Chuck’s Shaving Channel; he covered his hometown.
Particularly interesting to see the history of Petticoat Junction Amusement Park.

Chuck has a lost a lot of his channel Subscribers due to a YouTube problem.

Here my Sunday Shave (22.09.204)


Razor: DOVO Primo 2 // Blade: Gillette Platinum // Soap: Dr. Selby // Brush: Shavemac // Aftershave: Alum - Witch Hazel - Stetson

Today it´s my moms birthday and i had this excellent shave for it.

The Primo 2 is a very smooth and gentle razor, thoroughly and has a great balance. I love to shave with this beauty.

Dr. Selby,,,a spicy Lavender scent. Wonderful. It is easy to lather and the lather is rich, slick and cushiony. If you have not it yet, please do so. You won ´t regret it.

2,5 passes later the shave was done and over. BBS. Applied the Alum block which had quite a good amount of feedback to it, but this is due to the blade, which had almost 7 shaves on it. Still very smooth and gentle. But i dumped it after this shave. The Witch Hazel to soothe the skin and the top notch Stetson Aftershave to close out this really joyful shave. A wonderful, elegant, masculine scent with notes of Lavender and spices.

A 10 out of 10

The Vintage Life Licorice Shave Soap lathered well with the Semogue Owners Club Boar brush. Two passes and touch ups with the C.V. Heljestrand Lather Catcher Razor and the C.V. Heljestrand Wedge Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Derby City Chop Shop Winter Reserve After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

It’s been a helluva long time since I used this Brion Sensitive cream from Serbia. This stuff smells very nice, although it comes out of the tube a bit stiff it lathers very well, it has a bit of a menthol sensation which feels pleasant, and it’s really soothing. The Nip Man balm also has a nice minty scent, it’s very cooling as well as soothing, and the Aqua Velva went on really chilly. Finally the Proraso Cypress Vetiver cologne smells great. Three passes resulted in such a terrific BBS shave that I enjoyed a LOT!

Sunday Schick Shave, September 22 2024

Razor : Schick E2 injector Canadian variant. Mfg 1930's-40's in Canada. Very good and well stamped out razor QC for its time era. I like to use modern blades because they work better for myself and are sharper than vintage blades it seems. The razor weight is about 1 OZ if someone is curious. Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning.
Blade : SChick injector(1),(yellow package of 7) sharp and smooth with great longevity.
Soap : Speick stick, nice mild spice scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "lucky casino's) 26mm timber wolf knot. Excellent lather generator, luxury heavenly cloud like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock King Louis lavender with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning with my Schick E2 injector with a SChick injector blade.
