SE SOTD, September 27th 2024

Razor : Yaqi Romulus 316 SSP SE with a Yaqi Chippendale 316 SSP handle. Mfg 2023> mild to tame mid range depending on what Feather AC blade used or shim added. 6/1000 shim works well for myself if I want a smoother shave IMO. Had a close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Kai Captain titan mild (9) sharp and smooth with excellent longevity with the Romulus razor!
Soap : Yaqi Musketeer Rapier, additive scent( similar to Aramis classic cologne?) with excellent lather qualities.
Brush :Yaqi "Panda bear" 24mm tuxedo knot synthetic. Excellent lather generator, luxury cloud like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. Bought this on a live sale a couple of years ago on a whim and it turned out to be a nice brush.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Witch hazel beard cleanse of soap residual + Yaqi Musketeer Rapier slash + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi Romulus SE razor with a Kai CTM blade.

Razor : Ever-Ready 1914 or (AKA= L.L.C). Mfg 1914-17, mid range. Interesting design and excellent stamping technology for it timeline. The audio feedback is enjoyable for myself + I'm usually rewarded with a close comfortable shave like this morning.
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE (6) very sharp, excellent longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable + safest blade to handle.
Soap : Razorock Santa Maria del fiore croap, nice scented Vanilla tobacco(addictive) with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi"Moka express" 26mm 2band badger. excellent lather generator, luxury pillow like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.Big handle for a large nice enjoyable 2band knot for my general shaving needs.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock Santa Maria del fiore with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Ever-Ready 1914 SE razor with a coated Gem blade.
