Not quite a Grand Freeze but close - the Frozen Tundra is the second coldest soap after the Glacials. I love its scent which is a beautiful blend of peppermint, wintergreen, and earthy notes, the lather is fabulous, the menthol sensation is pretty damned strong, and it’s so skin friendly. The Gold Bond moisturizer felt so soothing as well as cooling, and the Alt Innsbruck aftershave gives a good menthol kick along with its delightful old school European scent that I love so much. Three glorious passes gave me an awesome BBS shave that I enjoyed fully!

Razor : Razorock 2nd Generation Lupo.72. Mfg 2021>, mid range. Excellent machining + finish and design QC. One of my best DE razors for receiving decent close shaves consistently when used weekly. I have to admit it just checks all the boxes for myself for a great razor. I have changed different handles over the years and this one works excellent for my shaving needs.
Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning.
Blade : Personna Red(4) sharp and smooth with excellent longevity. Top tier blade of my 5 favorites in my den.
Soap : La Toja stick, very mild scent and has excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi " Atlantis" 24mm G4. Excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Nice looking handle with a decent synthetic knot.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Italian barber Amici with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning with my RR Lupo.72 razor with a Personna red blade. One of those mornings when everything just worked well from hand technique to a blade that felt spectacular for some decent shaving this morning.
