    Gillette New short OC
    Gillette Wilkinson (1) made in China
    T&H Sandalwood
    Vulfix Pure Badger
    Fine Latigo

    Lovely two passes with judicious buffing as needed
    The Wilkinson blade seemed both sharp and smooth, not the same as my others, but to be fair I don’t normally go to 3 days growth. Will see how it behaves in my next shaves with it

    I have found that when a blade starts to feel like it’s jumping around it can be due to
    1, a dull blade
    2, lather not slick enough or too dry
    3, razor too light and jumping around
    4, not enough pressure to keep the blade engaged
    5, going ATG too early on in the shave

    Once again I am smooth, presentable and refreshed on a lovely Sunday Spring day in Perth WA

    Definitely a "Technique Trumps Tools" shave today, but overall a real nice result. Hub City Soap Co. is based out of Lubbock, TX, owned by a nice-looking family who has a dog. (I'm sure the dog enjoys being part-owner, chuk yuk yuk). When done right, you can get a great shave from the soap and A.S. I used Pages, which shows a leather-bound book, indicating there's good leather in the product. A minute at the Loading Dock, followed by a fine, comfortable shave in most areas. I didn't do good enough with the jawline under BOTH ears, thus my "Technique" should have been better, but otherwise no problems. Good close from the Pages A.S. Most Oustanding.

    Next to last shave with this Areffa soap sample. Thank you again Joe, @Trigger, for sharing the sample with me. It is a great soap. The best fat leaves the face feeling amazing. Three passes to super smoothness and off to do my civic duty, voting.
