    Today's shave was not as good as previous ones, but boy did I get lucky in the end to raise my commentary grade. Solid face and neck coverage from the Bill Neumann Heartwood soap, to prepare for the shave. Clean and clear along the face amd most of the neck, but I had what developed to be a Red Ball Sunset along the left side of Cactus Nation(neck). I describe a Red Ball Sunset as a glorified Polka-Dot. Looked ugly. However, the Bill Neumann Heartwood aftershave saved me, by knocking out ALL of the RBS. That's the "Skin-Friendliness" of Bill Neumann. Happy to have it, and I may make some additions to my lineup in the future. I'll say I had a Super Duper Outstanding shave, all things considered.

    I just got home from working the polls. It was almost a 17 hr affair I didn't have anything to eat since 2:30 pm. Of course,, I couldn't have a heavy meal so I decided to have oatmeal, peanut butter, black berries with sugar free maple syrup. It was a long day so I can now relax.

    1 Days growth

    Same setup again but with
    Blade = Kai (5) feels like it is fading, but impressed it’s lasted this long for me
    Passes = 2 and buffing
    Damage = none

    Same ASL and scent

    Have a great Wednesday, one and all

    New Kai blade for the next shave, not sure when yet!

    5th identical shave in a row for me, heading for a record here!

    This morning, I closed out my first Neumann November set, with the Heartwood combo. My brush was the Jayaruh #59. Very well-done. Clean and clear all over, no damage(including a Red Ball Sunset).2 passes. It was another day where I felt good enough after the first pass, but you don't want to waste the soap so you do the second. Nice finish from the Heartwood A.S. As Outstanding As It Gets.

    Cracked open a new Kai Blade (1)
    Passes = 2 and buffing
    Damage = minor weeper right lower chin thanks to the fresh Kai blade and my own enthusiasm

    I think tomorrow should be a rest day, but will see how I feel
