Monday 11th November Canadian Schick E3 v5 + Schick Proline B #1 + DScosmetic T4 Synthetic + Ach Brito Mogno Bar + Williams Aqua Velva AS + Aloe Vera Gel 1st use of the newly acquired Schick E and the Ach Brito Mogno soap. I used the bar directly on the stubble and easily built up a wonderful creamy slick lather with one of my favourite brushes. This confirmed all the great reviews this soap has. The lovely cologne scent being one of them. The result from the new to me Schick with a new Proline blade, was up there with the best. Well pleased!!!
ASRazor shave, Monday, November 11th 2024 Razor : Ever-Ready 1912( England Mfg variant). Mfg 1936-53, (exact date unknown), mild to tame mid range. Used a RIGS shim under modern spline to blade load secure to blade stops better. Well made for the thicker splined blades for that era. Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning. Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE(5) very sharp, excellent longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable + safest blade to handle. Soap : Yaqi Black Pearl, Very unique cologne scented soap with excellent lather qualities. Brush : Yaqi "Lucky casinos" 26mm timber wolf knot. Very nice luxury face feel. Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area. Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups. Post shave :Yaqi Black pearl splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless). Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning with my Ever-Ready 1912 variant with a coated gem blade. Have some great shaves!

I've found that the G8 is the most comfy and efficient combination I've yet had. I only need one pass with this one. The L type I need two passes but that is another comfy razor. I like the design of the E and G types the best, so tend to use this G8 more then my other injectors. I don't why I love injectors so much. It's a feeling there and makes me happy.
