Razor : Yaqi 3pc SLOPE torsional 316 SS slant head with a Yaqi hollow brass nickel coated handle. Mfg 2022>, mild to tame mid range. Well made in machining accuracy and great finish for my shave needs.
Blade : Gillette Nacet(1) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap : Razorock Lavender, nice scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Chianti's" 24mm synthetic. Very gentle face feel with a decent handle.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock King Louis lavender with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + 1 chin small weeper= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi SLOPE slant torsional type with a Nacet blade.

The Old Spice Original Shave Cream lathered well with the Jayaruh #454 two-band badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick C Repeater Razor and the Personna Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Tabac After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

Thanks Barry. Which do you prefer, the LEA cream or the veggie stick? Can you notice the difference?

 

There is difference in between the cream & veggie stick, the cream contains (Tallow) which my skin loves & the Veggie stick/Soap contains lanolin & glycerine which are also make the new formula perform & feel great on the skin. Difference in performance I personally find both equal to one another. The Vie-Long Shave stick (Tallow) is the old LEA stick/soap formula before LEA stopped using tallow purely down to using cheaper ingredients. The new version based veggie has a slightly different scent to the tallow based products, but performance wise they are both excellent.

Razor : Yaqi Romulus 316 SSP, SB with a Yaqi Chippendale 316 SSP handle. Mfg 2023>, mild to tame mid range. Excellent machining, finish + simple blade clamping system.
Blade : Kai Captain Titian mild pink(5) sharp and smooth with excellent longevity.
Soap : Razorock Lavender, nice scented lavender with excellent lather qualities. (finished my last tub of 3 & no more left.)
Brush : Yaqi "purple haze" 24 mm synthetic. Very nice face feel with great handle to hold and look at!
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock King Louis lavender + witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + 1 chin nick weeper= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi Romulus razor with a Kai CTMP blade

A peaceful afternoon shave with the E2 Schick. Funny how it feels a little milder than the G8. Unless I accidentally dulled the blade while injecting a new one in. It’s been a few years since using the E2 and it’s good to be back. A smooth shave all the way with CO Bigelow with its refreshing eucalyptus.
