Sunday Schick Shave, December 7th 2024

Razor :Stick Schick L type theme series. Mfg 1973, mild range. Very light and a pleasure to use, brings back memories.
Blade :SChick(2) sharp and smooth with great longevity.
Soap : Razorock XXX Fresco, nice scented fresh, mentholated with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Artic sky" 24mm synthetic knot. Very nice soft face feel knot with great handle.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock XXX Fresco with witch Hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Stick Schick injector L type with a SChick blade.

Razor : Gem Junior bar Lather catcher. Mfg 1907-11, mild to tame mid range. Great razor to use with a fresh blade + daily driver for a lot folks IMO. Blast from the past this morning, the fellows back 1900's knew how to make beautiful razors!
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE(2) very sharp, excellent longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable + safest blade to handle.
Soap : Yaqi Black Pearl, very interesting type of freshness scent that the more I use it the more I enjoy it + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Sarada Familia" 22mm 2band badger. Very enjoyable badger that works very well and not a lather hog.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Yaqi Black Pearl + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Gem Junior bar lather catcher with a Gem coated blade.

SE Sunday shave, December 29th 2024

Razor : Yaqi Romulus 316SSP with a Yaqi Chippendale 316 SSP handle. Mfg 2023>, mild to tame mid range. Excellent machining, finish + simple clamping system.
Blade : Kai Captain Titian mild pink(4) sharp and smoooth with excellent longevity.
Soap : Cyril R Salter Wild Rose cream. Nice scent of roses 6-7/10 strength IMO. Reddish tinge to soap but does not stain brushes.
Brush : Yaqi "Mysterious space" 24mm 3band silvertip badger. Excellent badger for my daily shaves!
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Italian barber Amici splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning with my Yaqi Romulus razor with a Kai CTMP blade. (Very enjoyable shave this morning with excellent results, one of my best SE razors with a Kai blade.)
