remember the young lad back in the day that got a new gillette razor and a pack of blades..no blade packs or other alternatives in those days....he learned to master what he had/could afford..all blades are sharp enough...ones face will adapt..

Blade 13th Dec = Prime Platinum (1)
Blade 14th Dec = Feather (1)
Passes = 2+
Post = Usual CWR, Alum, rinse, pat dry, Thayers rose petal, Nivea Balm
ASL = Proraso Barbe Dure with Oud
Scent = PR wood and spice Cologne
Arabian Sunset Oud to the pulse points
Score = 9 / 10 with the Prime Platinum.
Score = 9.9 / 10 with the Feather
Damage = none

13th: An acceptable performance from this Prime Platinum. For me it is neither sharp nor smooth, but very capable, so this was a workmanlike shave. There was a bit of blade drag: Binned. I have 9 more in this tuck: time will tell whether I come back to these at a later date. It may be better in a different razor, but my guess atm is that this will be a one and done kind of blade

14th: Fine shave with the Feather, easily outperforms the Prime Platinum especially on pass 2 +
Much easier to get super smooth and still safe ATG all over

Great way to close out the Oud Wood combination. At first, the Jayaruh brush didn't satisfy while swirling around in the Stoylin soap, but it eventually picked up steam to get enough. That was an odd experience. Gave my face and neck a nice paint job. Clean and mostly clear along the cheeks&sideburns. At the end pf the shave I noticed an embarassing misson the left sideburn that I got with the rszor and warm water. But back to the shave. Both ends of Porcupine turned out great. Cactus, too. No damage anywhere. 2 passes. Nice finish with the Agadir A.S.Since I had the presence of mind to correct that left sideburn issue(there was just too much astroturf to leave until tomorrow), I'll give myself a As Outstanding As It Gets.

Believe me, it only gets better.
