A new eclectic shave set up to start the Weekend.

Everything in my shave set up worked together superbly this morning. Both the Baili BD177 & Gillette Guard performed wonderfully. The Gillette guard on it's 5th outing still felt it could go on for another shave, but I'll retire it, as five head shaves from a single edge blade is amazingly good.

Another close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small of L'0REAL Soothing Birch Sap PSB.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.

The Proraso Sandalwood Shave Soap lathered well with Tom's B400 Two-band Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Bunny V3 Injector razor and the Supply Black Label Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Lucky Brand Citrus Mist. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Today I wanted to pull out the Impi soap and I’m happy that I did because it’s so nice. The scent is coffee with fruity notes - it’s very pleasant, it’s glycerine based yet it lathers great, it’s fairly mentholated, and it’s excellent in the skincare department. The Boomslang 3 balm smells so much like Brut, it’s so moisturizing as well as soothing, and it’s got a generous amount of menthol in it. Finally the Brut aftershave and cologne and I think I’m good to go - do I ever love that old school scent. Another fun filled three pass BBS shave - no complaints!

DE SOTD, Saturday, December 28th 2024

Razor : Razorock Lupo.72 316 SSP, Mfg 2021>, mid range. Excellent machining, finish and design of head.
Blade : Personna Red (4) sharp and smooth with excellent longevity.
Soap : Razorock M.F, very enjoyable cologne fragrance that just works well + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Moka Express" 24mm synthetic. Very enjoyable face feel of luxury performance.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Witch hazel beard cleanse + Razorock M.F aftershave + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning with my RR Lupo .72 razor with a Personna red.
