@Bill G I'm glad to hear that unscented soaps are working for you. I too discovered that unscented products were a big help for my face. A dermatologist diagnosed me with rosacea and switching to unscented soaps and lotions cleared it up better than prescription medications.
Both of the Stirling soaps that you mention are great, but I especially like the beeswax formula. Have you tried the Sterling Sheep? I admit that I did not care for the sheepy smell. I haven't tried the Razor Emporium soap, but I have considered it. For a while I was buying every unscented shave soap I could find, and enjoying all of them. I just did a quick look in my soap cabinet and I have 17 unscented shave soaps at the moment.

For a while I was determined to stop buying and just USE what I have. Then last month for my birthday I suggested that my wife buy me two more unscented soaps....
Interestingly, one that I keep coming back to was also one of the first I tried --
TSD lanolin shave soap (a glycerin soap with bentonite clay). Don't get me wrong, I love all the fancy artisan tallow and veggie soaps, but I still keep the TSD glycerin soap in my rotation. It's a personal favorite.
Have you tried unscented shave balms and lotions?
