    Monday Afternoon 10/03/25

    • Razor : Yaqi Ghost TI 90 DC. (Duel Comb) "First Use"
    • Blade : Feather Hi-Stainless.(1)
    • Brush : Yaqi Ocean 28mm synthetic.
    • Soap : Rustic Art Lavender Charcoal. (Hard Puck)
    • Aftershave : Pinaud Clubman Virgin Island Bay Rum.
    • Razor weight : 58 grams.
    Hi all,
I had a lovely shave this afternoon with the Yaqi Ghost TI 90 DC.
This is the first Titanium razor have ever owned I picked it up second hand recently.
The first thing that drew me to it was the duel comb design of the head which is unlike
any other razor I have or have owned.
Today I used the safety bar side only and I have to say the shave was very smooth and efficient.
I will use the open comb side for my next shave just to compare.
In my opinion easily as smooth as the TGS Syntesi in my last SOTD maybe even a bit smoother hard to tell.
The thing that stuck me was on the first stroke of the WTG pass it was a no brainer no angle
adjustment at all witch can be common when using an unknown razor for the first time.
Being so light weight (58 grams) I wondered if inexperienced wet shavers could mistakenly apply
pressure if they had only used stainless or solid brass razors witch may result in nicking or cutting themselves.
The in hand feel weight wise felt similar to vintage Gillette's. (very pleasing) upload_2025-3-10_15-57-23.gif

The soap was good to but I realized I should of brush loaded it not bowl lathered.
Lovely relaxing fragrance during the shave.

    Cheers.

    Gillette Silver Blue Blade

    Mennen Skin Bracer AS

The Proraso Green Shave Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #463 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Sheraton TTO razor and the Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Mennen Skin Bracer After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Not only am I still frozen from using this Glacial Frozen Tuxedo soap and aftershave I smell great. I’m also mega BBS from three glorious passes. The Stoffel balm is also frigid and a little goes a long way. What a delightful shave to start the week!

    Greetings,

The Haslinger schafmilch sheep milk & lanolin soap is such a great performing nice mild fragranced shaving soap which my mature skin loves and creates a good lather in a short space of time leaving a superb post shave feel.

I have a another cake ready to use once this one is done.

Finishing the shave off a with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

Solo Edge is a mild SE razor, yet it’s effective. With a sharp blade, it runs even smoother. It effortlessly and comfortably shaved a one-and-a-half day beard in two passes plus touch-ups.

Wishing everyone good health and a great day to all...

    Tuesday morning:

    Long hot shower
    Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
    Super Speed/Wilkinson day 8
    TSD Sandalwood SS
    Lubriderm Moisturizer
    Proraso Red AS Splash

Here’s something that I haven’t used in a LONG time - JoAnna’s Sandalwood soap. The scent is lovely, it gives great lather, and it’s pretty good skincare wise. The Lubriderm moisturizer felt so soothing, and the Proraso Red aftershave went on with a big sting but two seconds later it felt so comfortable, not to mention how beautiful the scent is. Three passes gave me an awesome BBS shave that I enjoyed so much!

Wishing you all a nice day - be well and stay safe![IMG]
