Terrific dual shave Neal. When I had Arko, I found that it was one of my best soaps for a headshave because it was very slick and never got a knick on the dome.

Great shave today, repeating with yesterday's stuff, but for that un-named Brush-large dark blue synthetic. It's a nice brush, just needs the name. (I'm sure it HAS one, but I can't find it). Clean and clear all over. No damage. 2 passes. Before the second pass, I dipped the brush in for more soap(I'm doing that a lot these days). I do appear to be on a positive roll. Good . I used VDH Deluxe for the first couple of years of my head shaves. I had a 12 pack of Arko sitting on the shelf and realized it was stupid to keep buying the VDH when I had a fantastic option sitting there doing nothing. I agree it's a top soap for head shaves. Honestly, if all the "fancy" soaps disappeared I could be happy with just my stack of Arko sticks.
