I agree regarding the razor. I have the original General in black aluminum, this Stainless Steel, and this Brass. The handle is the 32-pounder from Blackship Grooming as I missed out on the Colonial Razors Artillery piece handle.

I never tried Bill Neumann’s version of Absolute Zero so I can’t comment on it. I heard that it gives a menthol sensation but I don’t know how much. This version that I have would be unusable for most guys I know - that’s how powerful it is. I really enjoy it a lot.

Mama mia am I ever frozen - ok, not like yesterday but still frozen. My dear brother Fernando whipped up two precious treasures - his Frosted Bay Rum soap and aftershave have the most BEAUTIFUL bay rum scent I ever had - the soap is a tallow based work of art with such great lather, it gives a whopper of a menthol sensation, and the postshave feeling is so soothing as well as comfortable. The Prep balm is unbeatable for skincare, and the Frosted Bay Rum aftershave is so frigid - not only that, its delightful scent has great staying power and it pairs so well with the Aramis fragrance which I love. Another tip top three pass BBS shave that I enjoyed immensely!

Two passes and touch ups with the Ming Shi Adjustable razor on 3 and the Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Tabac After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

For today, I repeated from Monday, HOWEVER

brush-BOAR-"The Almond Brush"*

About the same result as yesterday, with one big difference-I did what I set out to do pertaining my lackadaisical work at jawline/Cactus Nation....killed off the hairs . Nothing "lackadoo" today. The boar brush filled up quickly. Someone here said, in effect, "Give boars time-they'll come around". This Almond Brush did just that this morning. 2 healthy passes. No damage. Another healthy dose of Agadir A.S to finish. AgadirMen, you can get bodywash and shampoo. I have in the past. Will do so again. As for the shave-As Outstanding As It Gets.

Another day with the heavy Pearl Flexi, this time set on 2
A technique-focused shave with a fresh blade
With the right angle there was good audio feedback of the blade cutting
Very happy with the razor: not sure I will ever need more than setting 2.....
