Mother's Day Shave: brush-Jayaruh$59 the rest-same as yesterday Another great one. Clean&clear all the way across and up&down. No issues of negativity again. I did miss a bit on the left sideburn area to the jawline. Will fix that problem tomorrow. This should do it for OSP until next fall-the Old Spice dupe, anyway. Very pleased. Super Duper Outstanding.(I could have gone higher, but I can't ignore the sideburn area miss).

Another great one today(Mon). Am I on a roll? This author would like to think so . First, to clear up the brush I used....it was the Brush-Maggard 24 mm. Marble Handle synthetic. Since I've been using a library computer for a few weeks now I appear to forget the brush I'll be using the next day when I list my SOTD. Memory problems slipping in? That's for a different thread. Anyway, good work at the Loading Dock getting the Razorock soap on. It's gone at the bottom, just the sides remain. It's hard to focus on time spent loading, I always tend to take extra time at the sides, when it looks like that. Works out well though. Clean and clear all over, including that nasty miss from yesterday, at the left sideburn/jawline. No cuts, Knicks, Polka-Dots, Red-ball sunsets. Nice finish with the Stephan Bay Rum A.S. I look forwsard to two more days of same stuff. This was first day of Barbershop Week. Great kickoff. As Outstanding AS It Gets.
Thank you Gary. It had been quite a while since using the Razorock soap AND the Stephan Bay Rum. Well worth the wait for both.
May 12 Shave of the Very Late Evening Good evening. Shavette Shave #15 Magic by Master Barber Derby Pro DE Blade (4) MrEE Tuxedo Brush Seaforth Sea Spice Lime SS and AS Stirling Alum Block Beard Growth: 3.5 Days I definitely needed to shave with a 3.5 day growth. I didn't realize that I used this exact setup earlier this month. I guess my subconscious was working on overdrive. Lol! Anyway, I did 2 error-free passes for a very close and comfortable shave. As always, Seaforth Sea Spice Lime always makes a nice and slick lather as evidenced below: There was negligible alum feedback. Finished with the splashing of the matching aftershave. Take care.
13th May 2025. Shaving Recipe for today. Prep: Warm shower:/Cien Men Kenya Shower Gel. Pre: Cold wet flannel to my face & head. Pears Transparent bar Soap. Brush: Wilkinson Sword Synthetic. Face & Head Lather. Lather: Wilkinson Sword Sensitive shave soap. Blade: Wilkinson Sword Classic. (D3) Razor: Wilkinson Sword Premium. (TTO) Razor: Supply V2 (**) base plate. (Head/Dome) - Personna Injector PTFE. (D4) Post: Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Cold water face & Head wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Cien Men Aqua ASL./ Aloe Vera Gel. Greetings, Early morning face & head shave, Maiden outing with the WS sensitive shave soap which provided me with slick acceptable lather and is equal in performance to the black & blue tubs the only difference is the the sensitive version has a clean Aloe Vera scent. Out of the three versions the black has the best scent, but for post shave feel, which is remarkably good, and out shines both of the other versions. What is important the soap had no drying out issues or dissipating when I lathered on to my face & head. All of the three I've tried are fit for purpose, It's not the best of shaving soaps granted, but for a inexpensive high street/chemist bought shave soap it provides an acceptable slick lather. what more is needed, It's another winner for me. A close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off a with a few small dollops of Aloe Vera Gel. My face & precious swede are feeling smooth & smelling divine. Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.
Thanks Gary lovely colours, more citron/lime. Cool shave Gary icy looking shave I need to dig out my Fine's Nice going Joe. I don't generally do evening shaves, for some reason I find the mornings better, thus far anyway Might have to try an early evening shave again at some time, however I seem to have more time in the mornings Good going Barry Quadruple Wilkinson shave I like the way you keep coming up with more interesting things in your setups Have a great day ahead
