    Friday morning:

    King C Gillette Facial Wash
    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/7 AM day 6
    Noxzema SC
    Prep ASB
    Booster Polar Ice AS Splash

Whenever I use my Noxzema cream I feel like I’m in Paradise - for so many years it was the only brand that I used and I would give up all my other stuff if it was still available. Not only do I love the scent it’s such a pleasure to lather, its menthol sensation feels great and it leaves my skin feeling like it’s been born again. The Prep has the same scent and it’s so moisturizing as well as soothing - it also has a nice cooling effect. The Polar Ice aftershave smells like a 50s barbershop do I ever love it. Three glorious passes gave me a fantastic BBS shave that I enjoyed from start to finish![IMG]

    Pre-shave:- Cold Shower
    Bowl/Scuttle:- Captain's Choice
Brush:- Shavemac 'Crushed Mud' Resin 24/52mm Fan G5C Premium Synth.
Soap/Cream:- Noble Otter ~ Eros’ Ambrosia
Razor/Blade:- RazoRock Goat SS (borrowed) / Wizamet Super Iridium #5
Post/After-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Plunkett's Vita E Pure with Rosehip Oil (10 drops), Natural Plant Glycerine (20) & Tea Tree Oil Antiseptic (5)
Moisturising Cream:- Aveeno Active Naturals Daily Fragrance-Free (for autumn & winter season)
    Fragrance:- L'Occitane Baux
    Tonight Tipple:- Guinness

I'm returning the RazoRock Goat SS back tomorrow, it's been an interesting experience, I'm glad to see RazoRock has created a razor in stainless steel version of a similar or closer to the original Merkur 34C HD. That, a lot of wet shavers have experience and owned the Merkur 34C or 34G in their own den, it's a love and hate two piece razors, as YMMV some wet shavers find it, it's just right, and some find it's too mild as we all have different experience.

I've owned the Merkur 34C since I first started wet shaving many moons ago in my 30s, straight out from cartridge razors and airy can goo crap.

I've also owned a Weber razor awhile back since I've been hunting them online for years, which is a very close and near precise version of the Merkur 34C, however, it's a real shame the Weber razor isn't in production anymore when they offer their stainless steel version due to quality control issue back somewhere in 2010 or 2011.

RazoRock Goat SS gap is slightly wider, and the blade exposure is NOT neutral according to their website at all when comparing side by side with the original 34C. The blade exposure feels like double the rate, because, the RazoRock Goat blade exposure is one step higher against the original Weber razor I've owned in my den, when comparing them side by side against the Goat SS.

The Weber razor gap is the same as the 34C, with a slightly more blade exposure, just one step under against the RazoRock Goat blade exposure.
I find the Weber razor the most comfortable and the most enjoyable razor I've owned against the Merkur 34C and the Goat SS, the Goat SS blade exposure is a bit too much against the 34C for beginners, who never experience real traditional wet shaving with a double edge blade.

IF, RazoRock Goat drop the blade exposure slightly down a notch, keep the gap the same, and this new Goat SS razor well become near precise as the original Weber razor version.

My rate level blade exposure from high to low.
    1. RazoRock Goat.
    2. Weber razor
    3. Merkur 34C & 34G

Thanks for your excellent post. I have and enjoy the 34C and 34G both. However, my very favorite 2pc is the Muhle R89 Twist. I thought about purchasing the Goat, and I still might. I believe I have more RazoRock razors than any other. Gillette probably coming in second.

    Saturday morning:

    Hot shower
    Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
    Super Speed/7 AM day 7
    Southern Witchcrafts Lavender SS
    Lubriderm Moisturizer
    Sir Canada Ceder AS Splash
    Chabrawichi 555 Cologne

A few years ago I received this Lavender soap from SW that a friend of mine sent me and I must say this - truthfully it’s the most GORGEOUS lavender scent I’ve ever experienced, the lather is crazy thick, rich, slick as well as protective, and it has such a soothing, relaxing postshave feeling. The Lubriderm moisturizer added lots of extra care, and the Canada Ceder aftershave from Germany smells amazing - it pairs perfectly with the Chabrawichi cologne from Egypt which costs literally pennies over there. Three passes did the job for me - another brilliant BBS shave that was so much fun!

Have a great day - be well and stay safe![IMG]
