Welcome, I am one of the few not using real shave soaps and have recently in the last month taken some lotion and have been adding liquid soap with a tiny amount of water to it to make a thin shave soap I can work with my hands and a little water. I rarely use the item anyhow, so no need to buy real shave soaps or even brushless creams. Also one of the few who gets depending on blades 26--27 shaves for the Chinese King C Gillette to 30--40 sometimes 45 shaves with the Persona 100 pack made in USA from late 2017. I used to get 60 shaves from my 2017 Personna blades but I was having issues after 40--45 I stopped going past 45 with my old So, I am not the best one to give advice on these two topics but for Butterfly with closed comb I can help people in what they may like or if they are having problems with the twist knob bumping it.
