I haven’t received it yet, but from what I understand it has nice backbone and the tips are very soft.
No worries….. ends up they set the knot too deep; making what could have easily been an amazing brush a paper weight. I may remove the knot and set one at the proper height. I'm finding most of the brushes I really like, I set the knot.
Suave Unscented Soap(formerly West Man) from Pasteur's Pharmnacy. Couldn't say no to a nice discount!
I've been building bikes as a hobby since I was ten and alway wanted a proper vintage bicycle work stand, but either missed them or couldn't justify the cost. Till I saw this ..... Less than $20 plus shipping ..... Very happy to find it.
My first badger brush-from WB Barber Co. Created in 1939, I can use it on a Throwback Thursday . Looks nice. It's named for a man named Campbell, whoever he is.
NOS Rolls Razor blade and a partial container of Rolls strop dressing shipped for under $10. Edit: I wish all vintage razors retained value like Rolls Razors. ...and by that I mean still be the same prices they were 15 years ago.
Unused and "factory fresh" cosmoline (or whatever they used that looks and acts like cosmoline). Getting harder to come by these days. I'm tempted to try it and see if the "NOS blades need to be honed, because oxidation," myth is true or not.
2 items from Pasteur's Pharmacy I just ordered today-both are aftershaves: Master Soap Creations-Unscented Frosted Spearmint-(I forgot the company for now). Also Master SoapCreations.
I just ordered from The Wet Shaving Store....it's El Azulado soap(an Aqua Velva clone). One of their best sellers. They also have a similar A.S., but I can just buy that at CVS and enjoy the free shipping(just flip the thing next to me as a drive it home).
