The witch hazel & aloe vera gel are such wonderful post shave products, As for the Brut Oceans AS, it's a great inexpensive splash it's scent doesn't linger for a long time, but is another great post shave product and a great tonic for my ugly mug. Another two modern Brut AS I like are Brut Attraction Totale & Brut Sport Style, Attraction Totale is personal favourite out of the three.

I am meeting Joe @JACarbone this morning for our monthly breakfast meeting so I needed to shave this morning. I picked an easy setup so that it would be a relatively quick shave. The shave went well. Three bloodless passes gave me a nice shave. Alum feedback was ok. Splashed on my Lucky Witch Hazel and the Captain's Choice North aftershave to complete this session. Take care.

Lots to make up here. Sunday shave was real good....middle round of the Stoylin Glacial soap/Caswell Massey A.S. 2 passes. Believe it or not, I'm past those times when my reaction to Glacial soaps was (see below). I do enjoy that Glacial persuasion though! Fine close with the Caswell Massey Jockey Club A.S.(a favorite of JFK). As Outstanding As It Gets.

Great shave to close out(until next time)the Stoylin Glacial/Caswell Massey. Fine paint job with the Jayaruh brush, to set things up. Clean&clear all around. No cuts, Knicks, Polkadots, Red-Ball Sunsets. The Caswell-Massey A.S. is a bit warm for this kind of weather, but it works all right with a glacial soap. Really pleased today. As Outstanding As It Gets.

Look how far behind the times I am. I thought there was merely "Brut." I had no idea they'd added those other versions. Of course, it was only just this year I found out Faberge had sold off the name decades ago.



Too much going on today, didn't get to shave yet. Maybe tonight, maybe not.

 

That's one of the reasons why we are here and that is to give info to increase our shaving paraphernalia knowledge.
