A relaxing cooling early morning face & head shave.

Starting off the month off with 1960's Gillette Slim Twist.

The 1960's slim twist was my first vintage Gillette DE razor which was kindly passed on to me by a friend of the family. I've said this on many occasions, it still amazes me that a 60-year-old + vintage razor can still shave so smoothly.

The Lord shark super stainless are a good match for the mild, yet efficient with the 60's slim twist feeling comfortable smooth & efficient.

Another close comfortable acceptable face & head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of Blue Stratos Original Blue ASL.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.

The Tabac Shave Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #462 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Supply SE Injector Razor and the Supply Black Label Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Tabac After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I saw yesterday in a Merkur email ad that Merkur blades are now Dovo blades. Merkur is selling them out of their site. I was wondering what kind of transaction brought that about.
A very good & close 2 pass shave.

I must say, Noble Otter is moving away from its Texas-based offerings, that is, not moving away, but trying some that don't pertain to Texas.

I have a 34C - chrome
And a 34G - gold
Had to look up 34S. Thought you had a typo! Nope. Very nice!!

 

It's easy to lather even in my hard water. It's slick and doesn't dry too quickly on the face. It's scent is a little similar to Stirling Barbershop but plenty different also. To me, it's a toss-up as to which one I like better. They're both great.

Thank you. It's a limited edition, but I have no idea of how limited. I just sent an email to Mark of Sharpologist that to me, it shaves smoother and closer than the other two 34s. I have them also.
