Thank you Joe, I use the provisions that I have expensive or less. The main thing they all provide me with acceptable smooth shaves.

Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
    Brush: Anbbas 24mm Tuxedo synthetic.
    Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: The Body shop Maca Root & Aloe Shave Cream.
Blade: Lord Silver Star Super Stainless. (D1)
    Razor: 1970's Gillette Tech.(ENG) Head w/ Lord L125 Handle.
    Razor: Gillette Guard. (Head/Dome) (D3)

    Post:
Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Cold water face & Head wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./ Aloe Vera Gel. /Brut Splash-On Lotion.

    Greetings,

    (Face & Head Shave)

A new shave set up to start the weekend. The 70's Gillette tech paired up with the Shark super stainless.

The appearance & weight of the short nimble aluminium handle gives the overall appearance of the razor an almost "toy-like impression" that the razor is a gimmick however, I've experimented using different stock handle's with it and find the Lord L125 aluminium longer handle improves it's feel & performance making it feel more balanced, paired together with the Shark super stainless, with the addition of using good technique it performed wonderfully.

Another close comfortable efficient combined face & head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of Brut Splash-On Lotion.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.

    Nice shaves, Barry and brit!

Too busy for much yesterday, so today was shave no. 2 with the Meta-4. Same prep as two days ago, but today was Proraso white day for the soap.

Today I held the razor just a touch differently. I was slightly more toward ‘riding the cap,’ as one might say. It was just a slight adjustment, but it worked well. The 2-pass shave was a bit closer than yesterday, yet only slight feedback from the alum in just a couple very small places. It was a good shave!

    Sunday Afternoon 06/07/2025

    • Razor : Oliworks M3teorite 3 piece 304 Stainless Steel (USA).
    • Blade : 7 O'clock Black Super Platinum (1).
    • Brush : Grizzle Bay Blurple Evo Fanchurian badger .
    • Soap : Proraso Azur Lime. (discontinued) barber shop dispenser.
    • Aftershave : Rasozero Rinfrescante splash.
    • Weight : 114 grams.
    Hi all,
I have a lovely shave this afternoon with my new Oliworks M3teorite razor.
The first time I saw this on @Errol weekly razor reviews and recently the video by Dave in KY and also the one by Sig solo.
    Thanks to you all.
It was the design of the handle that first caught my eye.
The design reminded me of rock crushes I’d seen underground years ago.
Oliworks workmanship and attention to detail is first class including the etching on the base plate and the unique top cap design.
My razor came with the two and three plates as I rightly guessed the 1 plate would be too mild.
I used the two plate for this shave with three days growth I think it matched up well with the 7 o’clock black blade .
But for me the three plate will be my preference as I favor efficient close shaving razors (some say more aggressive).

The Proraso Azur lime shaving cream works so well as always what a shame it appears to be discontinued.

Finished Off with a very pleasant and zesty
    Rasozero Rinfrescante splash.

One pass WTG/ATG and a couple of touch ups.
No nick's no irritation no worries.

    Cheers.

    Great shaves!

Barry, I like that Thyme mug.

Vittoria, that is an interesting-looking razor, for sure.

Gary, I really like the blue theme.

I intend to further explore that technique with this razor. I think it might be the 'trick' to avoiding trouble while maintaining a good or great result.

Today's shave was another day of learning about the PAA razor.

Prep: Shower, then 'cold' water washcloth added to face immediately before lathering.
    Soap: Speick stick.
    Brush: Razor Emporium synthetic
    Blade: Wilkinson Sword
    Razor: PAA Meta-4
Post: Alum block, then Nivea sensitive COOLING post-shave balm.

Today the PAA razor tried _very_ hard to bite me BAD. I avoided a seriously large slice on my face only due to my slowness and care with this new razor. Overall the shave was very good in terms of closeness. I was playing around slightly with the angle, but still staying nearer to riding the cap than to neutral.

It seems I may have to almost lift the PAA _off_ my face slightly, to avoid razor burn or at least notable discomfort. I'm accustomed to not pushing a DE safety razor into my face, of course. I generally expect to essentially let gravity (razor weight) apply the right amount of pressure, which "right amount" is very small for me. With this PAA, so far it seems I do best when reducing the mount of weight I allow gravity to work on, if that makes any sense. Riding the cap even more may achieve approximately the same result, but I'll have to work with it more.
