This aftershave has a beautiful scent that I find difficult to describe. Let’s say that Tabac smells more “alter kakker” (old geezer” to Corinne) whereas this Canada Ceder perhaps smells more barbershoppy. To be honest I LOVE both of them!

If this shave was any colder my face would have disintegrated - these Glacial soaps are all menthol atom bombs. The scent of this Glacial Mango Sunrise is so tropically beautiful - along with the mango there’s a hint of musk, the lather is superb, the menthol sensation hits like a ton of frigid bricks, and it leaves such a comfortable postshave feeling. The Stoffel balm’s peppermint scent is so nice, and just a small amount moisturizes the skin very well - it also gives a STRONG menthol effect, and the Northern Elixir aftershave went on super cold - this stuff’s scent is a mixture of peppermint and eucalyptus - very nice. Three passes delivered a most enjoyable BBS shave!

After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Clubman After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

My Friday Fact was a repeat of Throwback Thursday. Clean clear shave all over, with the Gillette Foamy can. . One pass. No damage. Fine close from Osage Rub, which felt more normal(chilly)than from Throwback Thursday. As Outstanding As It Gets.
