West Coast Shaving messed up an order of mine, but it was too long ago to recall the details. Always happy with Italian Barber, Stoylin, and Pasteur's.

@blondblue I like Italian Barber for blades, as well. I make my own soap & PSO, so I don't buy a lot of other supplies from shaving retailers.

West Coast Shaving sold, around 2016 if I recall correctly, and moved to South Carolina. Complaints about orders being messed up started appearing a couple of years later. WCS sold again around April 2024 and moved to Pennsylvania. Hopefully, the new owner has fixed the problems and all is well now.

I have bought some of my last blades on e-Bay mainly the Personna made in USA 100 pack blades due to Amazon having the higher price hike for a bit, worried that Trump was threating company's tariffs on companies that had products/parts for products made in outside the USA but the price is now $17--$20 per pack. I also bought both of my old Gillette Adjustable slim handle on e-Bay as well because that is the best place to find used items other than say a car or some specialty used items you really want a site more for the specific item.

I did go Amazon for my original Personna 100 pack Made in USA and then Walgreens to get some King C Gillette blades to fill out my original Personna pack prior to this and I would probably look in Walgreens for the other items like a squeeze tube of cream if I started using actual cream for shaving.

The 'word on the street' is that AccuTek doesn't make blades in Virginia for the Personna label any more, yet they still make the same blades but just put their own name on them at ridiculously higher prices. I suppose it's possible the tariffs on the steel (or inputs to the steel, if their steel is American) could be a factor, too, as well as on the parts for the manufacturing machinery. Those should have a comparatively small effect on cost, though.
