Here my Shave of the Day (30.07.2025)


Razor: Timeless Aluminum Slant // Blade: Gillette yellow // Soap: PAA Harvest Moon // Brush: RazoRock Hive // Afterhave: Witch Hazel - PAA Harvest Moon

Second shave with the Timeless Slant. Another very smooth, gentle and efficient one. I love this razor. Especially with the yellow Gillette. The PAA Harvest Moon is such a warm and comforting scent. Really love that stuff. Lather has been built within seconds, glide and cushion were outstanding.

2,5 passes and i was done. BBS.

Applied some Witch Hazel followed by the matching Aftershave. A little stinging but not much. Skincare is top notch.

A 10 out of 10

The Williams Mug Shave Soap was applied with the Burma Shave Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Supply SE MAX razor and a Supply Black Label Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lustray Spice After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

Didn't Palmolive used to come as a foam in a can? As it is, though, nice-looking Rinfrescante, buddyyyy-(HAAAH-long lung breath)

My first shave with Carbon Cx-Cu and the first go with Happy Chap. Both really are impressive!

The Carbon Cx comes with quite reputation. And rightfully so. I love the look of copper and this beauty being brand new shines like just minted penny! I used a Wizamet blade on its first use. I had heard that the .68 mm “original” plate had a bit of chatter but I didn’t pick any up. It was only a days growth but it was a smooth and efficient shave. I was BBS after two passes except my trouble areas. I did another two passes because it was so smooth a shave.

I had picked up a few sets of Happy Chap and had yet to use them. They all smell fantastic from the tub. It being so hot today in NY I decided to use their Pulp + Petal set. Wow! Sweet, floral, and tropical! The scent is fantastic! And it whips up into a rich, thick lather! Great slickness including residual! I can’t wait to try the other sets of Happy Chap I have!

All in all another amazing shave! The Carbon Cx is all everyone says and more. An absolutely beautiful razor. And Happy Chap is another amazing artisan. If you haven’t tried them yet I suggest you do!

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Transparent Bar Soap.
Brush: Omega 11047 Mixed Midget.
Face Lather.
Lather: Razorock "What The Puck? !" Orange Sunrise Shaving Soap.
Blade: Lord Silver Star Super Stainless. (D2)
Razor: 1970's Gillette Tech (ENG) Head w/ Lord L125 Handle.

Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, /Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./.Aloe Vera Gel./Duru Mandarin Cologne.

Early morning shave,

Last shave of the month, the Lord Silver Star Super Stainless. & Shark super stainless have both paired up wonderfully with all of my Gillette DE razors throughout the month.

A close comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of Duru Mandarin Cologne.

My face is feeling smooth, & smelling divine.
