Great shave Barry. Like the shape of the brush, haven't seen the Denim around here but it sounds great.

Thank you Chris...The Denim original is great inexpensive post shave application, I also have the EDT of it too. Another one to check out if giving the opportunity to do so. However, there is quite few different variations of it, and I'm only familiar with the "Denim original" of which I like very much..It has a "Blue Stratos" vibe, which you know is a firm favourite of mine.

Something of interest: Original Denim cologne - a fragrance for men

My shave today was again a 9.5/10 due to one small cut on the moustache area that I did in a new area. I first by mistake was using dial 1 but then went dial 2 for all but the chin area that was dial 3 as that is hard to get areas/rough chin. Day 8 on topside of blade.

I used like always my Gillette Adjustable Shaver slim handle my no case H 2, the one I can date.

I used water on the face as I came from my shower, but I also used water on blade/head of shaver keeping that wet as well.

The new book I got on July-31, King C. Gillette, the man and his wonderful shaving device https://www.amazon.com/dp/0316009377/?tag=thshde-20, my early era of King C Gillete blade before the company moved to the thinner Chinese models, and my Gillette shaver are proving they are still a great trio for this month. I am loving the book, still in the 1920's era of the Gillette company though almost out as I am just in middle parts chapter 6 that gets into the 1930's at the very end looking a bit ahead yesterday.

I have with my currently used one an H-2 that is 1962 for $32.87 USA and a I or backwards J and a 1 or 11 with case and due to not knowing the date was under $40 USA at $36.77. I do not care about the date, would have been nice to see on the really nice case queen but somebody tried to turn an I into a J.

The no case I got a good deal on due to not having a case because if it had a case, it would have been $40+. The other was lower price due to the date code on the shaver being messed up.

I swear when I see :bounce017: because we are on shaving forum, it looks like the person is tossing DE and/or 1/2 DE blades in the air.

Hard to find online here, the musk version is way too pricey, will stick with what I have atm, but thanks for the heads up!
