    Menthol Monday - not a Grand Freeze but still delightfully cool:

    Cool shower
    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/7 AM day 2
    Noxzema Lather SC
    Prep ASB
    Booster Polar Ice AS Splash

    This Noxzema cream…….it’s such a treasure - as I keep saying, it’s my absolute favourite and for many years it was all I used. I LOVE everything about it - the old school scent, it gives the best lather, it’s not overwhelmingly cold but the menthol sensation is so nice, and the skincare is fantastic. The Prep has the same great scent and it’s chock full of soothing not to mention how moisturizing it is. Finally the wonderful Booster Polar Ice aftershave and I smell like I just stepped out of a 60s barbershop. Three passes gave me such an awesome BBS shave that I enjoyed to the max!

    The Monday Shave:
    Anything worth doing, is worth overdoing. The soap base holds up against any soap I've ever tried.

    That was my first barbershop soap..I've tried others since, and will continue to. The Stoylin offering is OK, just a bit too powdery(IMO).

    Gary, thanks for liking my post-you may recall I said I was going to do brush-work even for "brush-less creams in a tub"(which was based on a comment by you), but I just had to see if the "dig in" persuasion would be better for the Stephan I just bought, since today's shave wasn't too good. It all comes down to what happens tomorrow.
