My second time using this Proraso Green cream since the brand was reformulated and I’m very happy with it. The scent is still the same - it’s very pleasant, the lather is definitely better, it’s slightly slicker, the menthol sensation is so nice, and the postshave feeling is so soothing as well as comfortable. The Gold Bond moisturizer works great as a balm, and the Proraso Green aftershave went on with a nice chill. Finally the Boss Bottled Beyond fragrance and I’m good to go. Three passes delivered a most enjoyable BBS shave - no complaints whatsoever!

The Proraso Red Sandalwood was face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #144 Two-band Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the J.A. Henckels Rapide Lather Catcher and the J.A. Henckels Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Nivea After Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Right dandy shave to start the week with, all the parts liked each other a lot. I've said it before but I think VDH is underrated as a shave soap. Is it the best? Probably not but I always get a nice shave using it. So, my face is happy and y'all go enjoy your day folks.

Wow this Frosted Lavender soap and aftershave………all I can say is what a magnificent scent and what menthol power. The soap’s tallow formula is so similar to Stirling, the lather is totally awesome, the menthol sensation is easily a match for any of the Glacials, and the skincare is superb. The Gold Bond moisturizer is plenty cold also, and it gives great soothing. The Frosted Lavender aftershave has no stinging or burning because it’s witch hazel based and it’s freezing cold. Finally the Pierre Cardin cologne - it was a gift from my lovely niece and that’s it that’s all. Another beauty of a three pass BBS shave which I enjoyed immensely!
