My grandpa had due to almost going to the Korean wari the Air Force, a black twist knob Gillette Super Speed but the Backalite Plastic on the knob was crumbling, so my family got rid of the shaver. This was right about the time I started shaving in 2017 with a Micro Touch One/Weishi short nickel plaited brass model this was found in the house with the war metals.

Oh so just a reflection on the nickel.
