Receive an Invicta from member from another shave site and replaced the broken band with a Sifu NATO style band. I haven't wore a watch regularly in over 30 years, but really liking it.
After nearly 6 years of faithful service, the sensors and battery on my Garmin Fenix 6 decided to stop working. Tired of the weight and not willing to pay the price for the new version, i went with a Suunto Run watch. It weighs about a third of my old watch and was had on sale for $225. i have only had it for a little over a month, but am liking it so far.
I ordered this one a few months ago on one of the crowdfunding websites. I owned a Xeric before but this one caught my eye as it has a double retrograde function. When it hits sixty minutes the minute hand flies back to zero, when the hour hand hits 12 it flies back to 1.
Your Xeric reminded me of "Slow Watches" discussed by @Darkbulb (hasn't been around in a long time) in another thread here: https://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/show-off-your-watch.39574 They are 24 hour watches with just a single hand. Website: https://www.slow-watches.com/slow-sale
As for your cartoon, let me say that's the way it is these daysssssss(HAAAAAAH, long lung breath). Course you can still look at your watch, but we just have to hope watches don't go out of style(like Rapid Shave foam. Rise, too, I'm sad to say.)
