Great choice. It will look even more cool on a strap, and you can change colors to give the ticker a whole new look. Nylon straps are super comfortable as well.

I work building maintenance and I'm usually in less than ideal lighting conditions, so orange works for me.

closed comb baseplate and razor stand for the ‘above the tie’ S1 slant. I have the open comb razor and just shaved with it today with 1 weeks worth of growth. what a great shave all around, still my favorite razor! I want the closed comb head to use for when i shave more frequently.

I forgot I still had of the earlier run of King C Gillette blades that the original package never said manufacturer origin from 2020 with the glue on the blade to hold the wrapper and I used one of those early run King C Gillette blades then 8--9, now 7--8 blades left once I use up that early not sure the origin King C Gillette instead of what I thought was a modern King C Gillette made in China blade that came out almost a year later in late January 2021 to my local Walgreens.

Currently waiting for if I win an e-Bay auction for an F-2 Gillette Super Speed no color flair for part of my dad's birthday gift on October 16th. If I win I will probably get a good deal on a shaver as my max bid was $10 with $4.25 shipping. My dad is turning 65 this year, also plan on buying 50 Personna German red blades as I know he would use Personna with 3 of the 5 blade dispenser packs from the made USA Persona version that are basically the same as modern Personna made in USA 100 pack.

Lost the bid for the shaver but a different Super Speed standard also F2 was $19.59 USA with case and free shipping so I got that due to how many people were watching the item. I will buy the other 2 sets of items today after work since the price was reduced by the sellers and the offer was for 3 days as of yesterday.

Out of all the reviews of this model, that was the only real downside that the lumen is only on the hands and did not have long staying power. On the upside, the accuracy is within 20 seconds per month and the battery life is average of three years.

I also am waiting for a case for my that came with this crappy plastic butterfly Safe-T-Shaver that I plan on tossing the shaver on, using the case for my Micro Touch One as it does not really fit except for one exact way in my Gillette Adjustable slim handle case, so yeah I will be tossing the cheap shaver from the case. This was about the only option for the storage of a shaver where I am not tossing a useable shaver like a short handle Weishi/Clone or a model that could be fixed into a useable shaver even if kind of crappy like an aluminum alloy version of the same shaver with same case, this shaver is not useable from what I remember on old Amazon reviews when the shaver was sold on Amazon the model often broke right away in use but the case was usable for people who had bought models they were going to fly with like a Weishi as on Amazon or most sellers on AliExpress the Weishi model does not come with a case.

    https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256808759570370.html?

I got the $99 deal for the shaver only with free shipping for my first buying of the model of shaver from said seller or else without the back-to-school sale the shaver getting for the case would not be worth it due to shipping price for a $2.49 just the case. I am also ditching the dull steel blade it comes with basically only keeping the case as I bought the version without the unknown stainless-steel blades not wanting blades that are probably crappy rejects from a company like Fly Dear a brand that seems to be the Persona of China or worse, the lower end Ming Shi stainless-steel blades that are a brand making blades usually sold with shavers only.

Coming soon in the mail to Aussie, this soap is going to smell bloody GOOD!

Scent Description: (Pronounced PRAH-yah meaning Beach in Portuguese) This is a deliciously gourmand scent featuring pistachio, almond, salted caramel, and vanilla.
A scent so decadent and bold that it has no trouble hanging around throughout the day.

I got the splash and a shave soap sample of PRAIA just yesterday and its become my all time favorite. Its such an AWESOME scent that I cant say enough good about it. They’re out of the regular sizes but once Rod and Mandy restock this scent, I plan on restocking as well.

Back to the forum topic, I’m currently waiting on a 10-pack of Treet carbon blades and a 10-pack of KCG gillette blades that are described as being the ones made in russia, not China, and some clubman reserve whiskey wood powder that I put into a device called a saksak from a company called the SakSak that only sells the one product, which applies powder with no mess or waste to and around the boys, and works really well and is pretty awesome. Also waiting for another soap standle which is pressed into a bar of soap so that air can circulate around the bar 360 degrees and all but eliminates any soap goo or waste. And a soap standle platform which hasn't been released yet as decisions are still being made on the packaging which I managed to get an advanced order for and am part of the evaluation team for that new product. Oh and another fountain pen is on the way from Jetpens.com to add to that collection. I’m seriously considering a purchase from Italian Barber of the Game Changer Jaws razor and might also purchase the more aggressive head labeled as an open comb. I believe the Jaws head is also open comb and my understanding is the difference between the 2 heads is the teeth on the Jaws head are spaced further apart and the open comb labeled head is less aggressive than the Jaws version.

Just received the 10-pac of KCG blades and although Rufus, the AI bot on Amazon, assured me they were made in Russia, the Gillette logo on the pack is black print, not etched on the blade, which I believe means they’re from China, and not only that, the package they came in states they were from China. I don't think I would’ve purchased these blades if I knew this, based on Caseys description of the difference, but since I have them now, I’ll give them a try. Glad I only bought 10 and not the 100 pack. Lesson learned is not to trust the info from that bot. Oh no, I just remembered, I recently purchased some touchup paint for the roof of my 2012 Black Jeep Wrangler, and relied on Rufus for that info as well, because the shade of black is different between the roof and the body.

I had to this weekend get a new cell phone as my old one a Kyocera smart phone was messed up in the screen. I got the Samsung Galaxy S24, similar to my brothers S23 but newer, my mom kept trying to say get a used Samsung S21 when I asked for help in what phone asking my brother what He used but found out they are in February of 2026 no longer supporting the model on updates, my mom might have to a few months or year later get a new phone. So, I am waiting for a phone and from Amazon a beefy case for the model I have along with on Amazon Super Shields brand of screen protector as those are some of the most durable on the market that is for the model I have. Odd part is the Samsung Galaxy S23 was more expensive at the same price of the Samsung Galaxy s25 at $1,298.98 USA.

My dad seems to be regressing in tech as he always had the latest everything but now seems to be stuck on Windows 8.1 for all his computers, stuck on a phone they have not supported since February 2021 if he even got updates in 2021 that still uses a USB D charger getting the style of charger when it was going away for all devices but some flip phones and his previous phone a flip phone did not have a USB D but this common phone style of mini USB.

I get regressing in items that make sense like appliances or toilet fixtures but electronic devices that can get your info hacked easier should not one of those items unless you are paying for at least 2 different companies of the antivirus software on the outdated machine.

Those early blades were reliably (as far as I know) identified as Gillette Silver Blues from Brazil.

Not shaving related, but I'm waiting on these:

So basically a rebadged Gillette Silver Blue, okay because mine had no identification on the blade package anywhere even the holder for the two blades, this was in 2020 and by sometime in mid 2021 the blades were gone for some what I found out were later in 2021 or early 2022 the blades from King C Gillette had Made in China on them. I think now these newer blades from China are the same model made for China with a picture of King C Gillette turned into a drawing, the Chinese Super Blue blades I think are not fake just these blades are badged up before anything gets put on the blades. The same Chinese Super Blue factory sells a metal 2 or 3 piece shaver that is the very same model sold under the Gillette 7 O-clock name with a different countries single blade in the package, the same country where most of the 7 O-clock blades are made for export.
    https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256808116853946.html?

This is the link above for the Chinese Gillette blades. Most people assume that Gillette is for the King C Gillette buying the identical clones off the market that are made with only a single side logo but for Gillette clones all I see are blades made with a misspelled logo Gillehtte or Ghillette looking like Russian Silver Blue that some people have online reviewed to be made of an odd Zmek covered flexible thin mild steel where I assume the blade gets dipped in Zmek after being sharpened then is sharpened on the edge before the blades are cut from the line.

I think Gillette division had wanted to use Chinese blades because most of the products that are not like shaving cream/beard oil were from China like the shavers and beard trimmer.
