Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Pears Transparent Bar Soap.
Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Brush: Omega 11137 boar.
Face & Head Lather.
Lather: Haslinger Schafmilch & Lanolin Shaving Soap.
Blade: Lord Silver Star Super Stainless. (D1)
Razor: Kanzy K100.

A new eclectic shave set up to start the weekend..

Another wonderful combined face & head shave....A great performance from the Haslinger Schafmilch.

My mature skin loves shaving soap that contains lanolin the slickness and post shave feel this soap delivers is superb...Wonderful stuff!

Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of Brut Oceans ASL.

My face & precious swede are is feeling smooth & smelling divine.

I have been looking at getting some Cella brushless shaving cream.

I gave myself this because of how quick my cut healed. I thought about a 9/10 but the shave was even despite feeling like I left a bit more then I normally do. I may have in middle of the shave clean or 80--90 % used the old side up on the shaver but fixed this in the final clean.

Today's shave(Sat.) was very good. Top Gun(from Regiment Soap)felt nice. I think it's a Drakkar Noir clone. Small cup, but 3.5 oz. of soap. Underrated company, I'd say. 0:40 at the Loading Dock. Clean&clear all around. No problems. Nice close from the Royal Copenhagen. As Outstanding As It Gets.

Today's shave was a 9.5/10 because I had a small mini cut on my jaw/chin area along with a second cut I was going to have due to a mosquito bite yesterday also the blade was on dial 5 though I did get a shave. Today is day 10 on the bottom 24 overall with the same King C Gillette blade. I had a nearly BBS due to using dial 7 very lightly at the end as a back to get the excess shaving I left behind.

I used as always, my H 2 Gillette Adjustable slim handle shaver without the case.

Today I used my soap and lotion concoction with keeping the blade/shaver clean doing a water clean of about 75--80 % in the middle.

I did add little soap to the shave lotion this time after the shave using Shea Moisture African black soap that was watered down to get the excess out of a bottle at the bottom and adding in about 1/16th of another opened bottle what was left. My brother and I use some pumps from the Shea Moisture brands Conditioner as the shampoo no longer uses a pump only the conditioner does when we got all the pumps. Luckly the brand is a Walgreens/CVS exclusive so people in my town from the local Walgreens can still buy the products now that Walmart is no longer carrying the brands products.

Gillette, the man and his wonderful shaving device https://www.amazon.com/dp/0316009377/?tag=thshde-20, my early era of King C Gillete blade before the company moved to the thinner Chinese models, and my Gillette shaver are proving they are still a great trio for this month. I am basically done with the book only a few pages left. I tried to not to do spoilers other than a few hints here and there to tease the book or what one can find on Badger & Blade on history of the USA Gillette timeline.

Passes = Pretty much done after 1 passs, but had enough lather for a complete 2nd pass
Post = Usual CWR, Alum, rinse, pat dry, Thayer’s rose petal
ASB = L’Occitane
ASL = Blue Stratos
Scent = Blue Stratos

The Dorco blade is fine, not the finest but fine enough

No damage, fine way to end the month
