Lather Catcher Sunday's Cold Water Shave

    Cold Water Rinse
    CTAPT Shaving Cream
    Alpha T-400 Silvertip Badger
    Ever-Ready Lather Catcher (First Shave)
    Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade
    CWR
    Humphrey's Witch Hazel
    Pinaud Citrus Musk EDC

The CTAPT Shaving Cream was face-lathered well with the Alpha T-400 Silvertip Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Ever-Ready Lather Catcher and the Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Citrus Musk EDC. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
  4. Another brilliant shave on your side Akhi!

  6. Buenos dias caros amigos!

    (Good morning dear friends!)

    Sunday morning:

    Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
    Super Speed/7 AM day 8
    La Toja Shaving Stick
    Lubriderm Moisturizer
    English Leather Classic AS Splash

This La Toja stick has been here in my place for umpteen years and I hardly ever use it but whenever I do I enjoy it a lot. It smells so nice, it gives fantastic lather, and it’s very skin friendly. The Lubriderm moisturizer is so soothing and I find that the English Leather aftershave pairs great with the scent of the La Toja stick. Three passes gave me a dynamite BBS shave that was so enjoyable!

Have a great Sunday - be well and stay safe![IMG]

  12. Hi Friends,

Here my Shave of the Day (31.08.2025)

    Photoroom_20250829_130516.jpeg
Razor: RazoRock Old Type // Blade: Gillette Bleue Extra (32) // Soap: Mike ´s Barber Shop // Brush: Jayaruh #421 // Aftershave: Fine American Blend

I found the Razor the last days while cleaning up my den. I think i have not used in years…so i though: Why not?!

The shave was wonderful. Smooth, gentle and thoroughly. BBS in 2 passes. 2 touch up spots which i always need to do, no matter the razor or blade i use.

Applied the Aftershave which only had minor zinging. After that the Menthol kicked in and the wonderful scent flooded the bathroom.

    A 10 out of 10

Have a great time, enjoy your shaves and stay safe and healthy.

    Greetings

  13. Thursday, Aug 31..
razor: Above The Tie S1 slant, closed comb
    blade: Treet Carbon blade-black beauty(1)
Brush: Saville Row Silver Tip, from QedUSA.com
pre: hot shower, PAA ice tube
soap: Arco in a stick, face lathered
post: TSD milk, PRAIA splash, I used a product called Heal Bee Bald as a post shave balm after the milk, then followed that with a few splashes of PRAIA on top.

Shaved for the 1st time with a Treet carbon blade and enjoyed the shave, it felt pretty smooth and gave me a fine 3 pass shave that I was happy with. I always take out the blade, dry it, and take apart the razor and clean and dry that as well so I’d be surprised if this Treet blade rusts like I’ve heard so much about wherever I did research on carbon blades. The black blade does look cool and cant wait to try it in the SR-71 made by The Holy Black Trading Company that I just purchased recently from The Razor Emporium and am waiting to arrive.

  14. I was about to buy the Jaws game changer .84P with the bulldog handle and an additional open comb base plate but Italian Barber is pausing shipments to the US due to some kind of 800 dollar rule issue. I corresponded with Michael about it and he's hopeful the issue will be resolved soon. I hope so because I’m liking the way this razor looks with the wide spacing between the teeth and the way its described has put my RAD into overdrive. Just to add, Michael told me they’re about to release the open comb version of the 1.05 next week as well but may delay that until the US shipments resume.

  15. Thanks for your fine post. In fact, you reminded me that I have a RazoRock Old Type that I also don't remember the last time I used. I'm going to bring it out this week.
