We love the Paddington movies! And yes, of course, we have a Paddington among our bears. So the 3 of us- me, Cameron & Paddington -watched Paddington in Peru together. We enjoyed it throughly. The animation was superb and the story was well-written. It had its share of humor and when warm, it avoided becoming saccharine. One of the characters- a nun- was played by Olivia Colman, who had also played Queen Elizabeth II in "The Crown." There were also quite a few little references to other movies.
"The 30-Foot Bride". This starred Lou Costello, without Bud Abbott. It was made in 1959; his last, shortly before he died. Nothing epic, but kind of fun. It was meant to be sci-fi satire.
October Sky- based on the book “Rocket Boys” (of which October Sky is an anagram.). This is one of those movies I can watch over & over.
