My dad is now using his blades more apparently on the Dorco ST 300 but he does do a single touch up sharpening and light stropping on the blade due to how dull those blades are the first time. Of course mine are the older Micro Touch One Blade version when the Dorco blade was really thick almost to the Treet mild steel blade. He has lost his old Persona batch he had just started using some because the Walgreen's model was not good anymore. My dad still gets about 3 months to 1/2 a year from the blades as all he does is his neck/under-chin. We talked a bit about this today for a bit before I went to work in the Greenhouse my parents own. I do think he will love my shaver and blades that should set him for life even if just using the blades, the shaver is actually more a cool idea saying hey you are both 65 years old.
