Blade: Treet Carbon Steel (1)
Pre: hot shower, PAA ice tube
Brush: Saville Row Silvertip
Soap: TOBS Sandlewood Soap
Bowl: Face Lather, used PAA moonscape brush scuttle to keep brush warm between passes, bought on Ebay
post: TSD milk Sandlewood, Lather and Wood Sandlewood, Captains Choice Splash Sandlewood

obtained very close to BBS with almost no irritation and just the tiniest sting from the alum in one spot. It was the one of, if not the best shaves I ever got.

Pears Transparent Bar Soap.

Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Kent Luxury Shaving Soap.
Blade: GEM coated. (D4)
Razor: GEM Featherweight. Pre-1954
Razor: Gallant II Platinum. (Head/Dome) - (D2)

Post:
Cold water Face & Head wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse/Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Nivea Men Replenishing PSB./ Paco Rabanne Pour Homme ASL.

The Derby Shave Cream was face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #1 Silvertip Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the GEM Damaskeene Open Comb and the Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Clubman After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Every time I use Tabac for some reason I start thinking in German which is a childhood language of mine!

Honestly I enjoy Tabac so much - the bath soap, the shaving soap, the deodorant spray, the aftershave and cologne all have that wonderful old school European scent that I love so much. This stick that I used is an old one - it was sent to me as a gift ages ago but it still performs beautifully - it delivered tons of fabulous lather with such a comfortable postshave feeling. The Lubriderm moisturizer provided lots of soothing, the Tabac deodorant spray is so efficient, and finally the matching aftershave followed by the cologne had me smelling terrific. This 7 AM blade is pretty much at the end but it gave me one last hoorah with a super duper three pass BBS shave that was such a pleasure!

Today’s shave was brought to me by Carbon Shaving and Macduffs Soap Co. I needed an excellent shave so I went to two I knew wouldn’t disappoint!

The Carbon Cx is probably my favorite razor. If you go by the amount I own it definitely is. The Iliad is definitely the prettiest of them. What more can be said about the Cx with the ++ plate? The best shave I get currently is from this razor and plate! If I could only have one razor for the rest of my life it would be a Carbon Cx!

And Macduffs is one of my favorite artisans. I use their body soap almost daily and their shave soap as much or more than any other. The base is amazing, the scents never disappoint, and the skin feel is tops! And Alberta Boys Deux don’t disappoint! Wow! Electric Oudaloo it is! The sweetness I’m met with at first takes a back seat to the warm oudiness (is that a word? No) tobacco, and woodiness (is that a word? Yes) Sean has done amazing things as always!

All in all an amazing Saturday shave! Great shaves all!

That's an awesome lineup my Lantzman! Tabac is terrific all the way around! At some point I will have to add the Eau de Cologne as well!
