Monday 9-8-25 PRE: Ice Tube 2.0 RAZOR: Muhle R89 BLADE: Nacet (2) BRUSH: 4.99$ Diana Horse Hair, advertised good for 1 shave but I think it still has some legs BOWL: Captains Choice Ceramic LATHER: Frost Byte CK-6 POST: TSD Milk Sandlewood, Lather&Wood Sandlewood A couple firsts for me here. This was my 1st cold water shave and I must say it was refreshing and I did enjoy it. I didn’t take a shower 1st either. I just splashed some cold water on the face, applied some PAA Tube and just went to town with a 3 pass. I did spend some serious time making the lather and the end result of that was really fantastic, best I ever made I think and I got a DFS for sure. and, wait for it… absolutely no alum feedback! ok ok but really just the tiniest bit in 1 spot.
Thanks for your excellent post. A little extra time building lather works wonders; add that to the fact that you were working with CK-6, which is well known for great lather, and your results tell the story. Sent from my SM-A526U using Tapatalk

Greetings, Early morning face & head shave. I can't recall the last time that I used the clubman Pinaud soap and forgot how good this in-expensive soap is. Because it is almost a croap-like soap it doesn't need blooming before mixing and it provides a good slick protective lather it has a really nice scent not overpowering and a good post shave feel. Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of Cien Men X-Bolt ASL. My face & precious swede are feeling smooth, & smelling divine. Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

Tuesday morning: Cool shower Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/7 AM day 3 Palmolive Classic SC Natura Siberica Yak & Yeti AS Gel This morning I was in a big rush and it’s a miracle that I was able to shave at all. This Palmolive Classic tube was sent to me MANY years ago by a good friend of mine in Sweden and it’s almost at the end but I have a backup. The cream smells so nice, it lathers like a champ, and the postshave care is awesome. The Natura Siberica gel is from Russia, and it gives great moisturizing with lots of soothing as well as a pleasant menthol sensation. No aftershave splash or fragrance because I’m not really in the mood for it. Three passes gave me a terrific BBS shave - no complaints at all. Enjoy your day and your shaves.
