Prep: Warm shower:/ Nivea Men DEEP CLEAN Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Pears Transparent Bar Soap.
Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Brush: Frank Shaving 22mm Synthetic.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Tabac Original Shaving soap. (Tallow Version)
Blade: GEM coated. (D2)
Razor: Ever-Ready 1912. (ENG)
Razor: Gallant II Platinum. (Head/Dome) - (D1)

Post:
Cold water Face & Head wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse/Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Nivea Men Replenishing PSB./ Tabac Original ASL.

A new shave set up to start the weekend..

From my first use of Tabac products that I was instantly hooked by the wonderful slick protective lather it created & old school fragrance.

It's one of those shaving soaps that I could quite happily use with every shave, but that would become tedious and making it a mundane routine for me which traditional wet shaving should never become...I know some people have 'love/hate opinions on Tabac products The scent isn't for everyone which I totally understand, but for me personally the fragrance comes second besides once I have done my cold water rinse the scent of the lather has virtually gone anyway with the exception of Tabac and a few others.

A close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of Tabac Original ASL.

My face & precious swede are is feeling smooth & smelling divine.

Saturday's Cold Water Shave

Jayaruh #4 High Mountain Badger
Christy Safety Razor
Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade

The Proraso White Shave Soap was face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #4 High Mountain Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Christy Safety Razor and the Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Duru Cologne. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Scheermonnik Soek SS
Lubriderm Moisturizer
Pierre Cardin Cologne

Although these Scheermonnik soaps are a bit pricey, I think they’re very well worth it because the quality is excellent. They’re from the Netherlands and they rival their fellow countryman which is the world renowned De Vergulde Hand. This Soek (pronounced SOOK) has a beautiful, exotic scent which is spicy with some other notes, it gives unbelievably good lather with plenty of slickness, and it’s so gentle on my skin. The Lubriderm moisturizer worked its soothing magic, and finally the Pierre Cardin fragrance topped everything off. Three passes with this Crystal blade and I’m 100% BBS - a shave fit for a king!

It’s been called a -wicked- slant, if it was open comb, I would have attained my holy grail. For some reason I seem to get the best shaves with slants, especially the open comb ones. I love my fatips and att S1 open comb slants alot. still searching for that illusive adjustable open comb slant that has an actual adjustment dial.

I’m enjoying this Noxzema cream so much but even though I still have two brand new backups I need to ration it because otherwise I’ll finish them in record time. I LOVE that old school scent so much, it lathers like a dream, it gives such a nice menthol sensation, and it leaves my skin feeling like it’s born again. The Prep has the EXACT same scent and it’s also so soothing as well as moisturizing - there’s also some menthol in it. Finally the delightful Aramis fragrance and I’m good to go. Another wonderful three pass BBS shave that was such a pleasure!
