    So, what keeps the sharp edge from hitting metal when inserted? Novelty. I wouldn't want to be the one using that, especially with the corners open, and unprotected, ready to gouge into my skin. Wall hanger. Try it once, count your blessings if you survive, and put it up for show.

    @DaltonGang Really not much different from the "Popsicle stick" shavers that pop up here every now and then.

    Looks like it could also be a stropping mechanism.

    Don't like the sharp corners but an actual razor is just a sharp knife. 30 or 40 yrs ago I brought a carbon knife up to a polished edge and it shaved quite well. Others have done the same with hatchets and shaved. I prefer a straight.
