  6. Thanks Chris. Unfortunately, this was my worst shave as far as too many booboo in my 55 years of shaving. I refreshed my straight, but I thought that I got rid of the burr and it gave me the nick on my neck. I hit my earlobe with the toe of the straight because it was covered with lather. That was carelessness on my part. I usually don't have a problem using my Rockwell Model T to shave my head, but the blade was so smooth that I put some unnecessary pressure that caused numerous booboo on various parts on my dome. I guess that I entered the Twilight Zone while I was shaving. Lol!

  8. I am glad you are finally enjoying your R41 Barry. It definitely is a fine razor. I use mine when I have 3 or more days stubble.
  9. Thank you for your kind words Paul. Glad you contribute here.

I have the 1959 Fatboy and it shaves differently imo. The heft on the Fatboy handle is more concentrated.

  12. Another fine shave with the Oud group. A minute at the Loading Dock with the Tricolore brush(Razorock). Very attractive one, that.I say "Oud group"-I'll be rotating my two soaps(Oud Sigma and Agar)as I pay honor to Oudtober. I made a bad miss at North Porcupine(right side). I appear to be struggling in that area of late, but I will not quit and grow a mustache up there. Maybe time for a different razor direction(North to South). Strange, as the left side has been no problem. Nice work everywhere else. 2 passes. Agadir did me well again, for the aftershave. Fairly Outstanding.
  13. If they are like the Chinese King C Gillette blades, I would have no problem using the blade after the initial micro dulling of the blade.

  14. Not a perfect shave, I messed up the blades due to the Twin Stropper so I had to use when blade was a bit dull after the first two shaves from using the Twin Stropper but not that true lightly dull I can shave with easier even on a new blade. This means I had to use the Dial foaming hand soap for my shave to have a lubricant for my shaving blade.

  15. Thanks, I have a feeling the slim handle adjustable version made by Weishi and the exclusives for Yintal in same design as the black Weishi model that are 1--8 = 2--9 are also the same using a longer handle in almost the same diameter to get the same weight similar only ends up more spread out then the slim handle Gillette Adjustable and then the how the fat handle Gillette Adjustable more concentrated weight as the fat handle Gillette Adjustable is not as wide or tall as the Rockwell T2.

  16. When I shave on Monday I am probably going to be shaving with the bottom side of the shaver as I got 2 extra days per each side most likely using my Twin Stropper.

Thanks Gary. Thats' a nice bit of history and heritage to go with the razor.

Lovely shave and setup. Sharp edge and light touch. Fantastic looking Oud to round off the shave

    Nice pic and shave. Fantastic.

Lol! Yup, I passed over some older razors in the past because of their looks but I know better now.

Lovely vintage hardware as usual Gary

Very nice, especially the bit about the omni-directional pass. It shows great confidence and technique I would say

    Beautiful

    Thanks Joe

Never mind Joe, onwards and upwards as they say. I agree with the need to avoid excess pressure, it's easy to get carried away.

    and again thanks Joe

    Same again

Day 4 of the Iridium, still doing its job nicely thanks to the excellent TOBS Oud lather and good prep.

I will stick with this blade until the blade declares its desire to be ditched. I expect that in the next shave or two but will keep an open mind

Minor weeper right top lip, overly keen ATG. Taken care of with cold water

    Easy peasy

Love the Semogue Pegasus by the way
