Finished a restoration of a #7 type 7 Stanley wood plane from the late 1800's. It's 22 inches long Pictures posted on the Haul 2025
I got to shoot a Ruger Mark IV 22/45 with a compensator (my husband's pistol). I've never used a .22 with a compensator before. OMG, It was rock steady!
How thoughtful of someone to name a gun club after it. Though, if they really wanted to do that they’d have the “Autocorrect Pistol Club”
I have a MK III 22/45 Lite, but it is extremely ammo sensitive. CCI Mini-mags is about the only thing it will reliably feed. I had a MK II years ago with a 5” heavy barrel that was a real tack driver. I hate that I got rid of that gun, but at the time I needed a printer for letters and resumes, so I did what I needed to do at the time.
I have a couple Mark II Rugers. The 6 7/8” heavy barrel Government model is a tack driver. I changed the upper on this one and it’s a lot of fun.
Nice! Love it! I need to get another Government heavy barrel model. The 22/45 Lite just isn’t what I thought it would be.
