16 Oct 2025 TOBS Oud, Semogue Pegasus, Gillette Executive on #5 Exact same lather technique, nice and slick, same prep So I popped in one of my Personna made in the USA blades for comparison with my most recent blades Initial impression of dragging rather nice a clean cutting action, a little better in the 2nd pass perhaps, but it still took more work to get the desired result. Binned. I have place the box of blades at the back of the cabinet, who knows I might come back to these another day I thought I would have to go to 3 passes but I bailed out after 2 passes to be on the safe side Despite that the shave turned out fine Finished off with the Blue Stratos duo Have a great start to your days gents
Thursday morning: Warm shower Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/Perma Sharp day 11 Godrej Menthol SC Lubriderm Moisturizer Floid Vigoroso AS Splash India produces so many great shaving products and this Godrej Menthol cream is one of them. The scent is different than how it used to be - it’s very pleasant in a clean, soapy, minty way, a small dab on both cheeks gives awesome lather that’s so thick, rich, slick and protective, the menthol sensation feels like washing your face with cold water, and it’s excellent in the skincare department. The Lubriderm moisturizer and the Floid Vigoroso aftershave were a perfect finish. Another most enjoyable three pass BBS shave - the Perma Sharp blade is still performing like a champ! Hi Friends, Here my yesterday´s Shave of the Day (15.10.205) Razor: Merkur 34c INOX // Blade: Gillette Bleue Extra (33) // Soap: Undine Kosmetik Prototype // Brush: Nightdiver´s Manufactory // Aftershave: Undine Kosmetik Wild River AS + Balm A good shave. The razor worked very well, but the Prototype soap which i was the lucky guy to try out, was missing on glide and residual slickness. But they are on a good way. Smells exactly like the Aftershave, fresh and woodsy. A 7 out of 10 Have a great time, enjoy your shaves and stay safe and healthy. Greetings Thorsten
