Sunday morning’s special pleasure: Long shower Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/7 O’Clock day 2 Noxzema Lather SC Prep ASB Pinaud Bay Rum AS Splash For me this is one of the ultimate setups - the Noxzema cream is totally unbeatable in every way imaginable. The scent is wonderful, the lather is the BEST - so little cream is needed, the menthol sensation feels heavenly, and the postshave care is so soothing - my skin feels like it’s born again. The Prep balm has the same scent not to mention how moisturizing and cooling it is - it’s perfect stuff. Finally the Pinaud Bay Rum went on with a bit of a sting but then it felt so cool - its scent is so old school and beautiful. This is #009 of the Batch 003 run from Blackman. It’s an aluminum Blackbird. I’ve never used a Blackbird and I must say that my loss. This shaved like a dream. Smooth, efficient, and quite audible! It matched wonderfully with the Wizamet. I had a DFS after two passes and BBS after 3. An amazing razor for sure! Zingari is always top notch! Love their scents and performance! My face feels fantastic right now and I smell damn good! Never reach for Zingari enough. Must do so more! Have a wonderful Sunday! Menthol Monday's Cold Water Shave Cold Water Rinse Ingram Shave Cream Jayaruh #188 Synthetic Gillette Double Ring (1905) Gillette Silver Blue CWR Humphrey's Witch Hazel Mennen Skin Bracer AS The Ingram Shave Cream was face-lathered well with Jayaruh #188 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Double Ring (1905) Razor and the Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Mennen Skin Bracer After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed... This Double Ring is 120 years old, and I don't know of another razor that shaves better. I was just astounded with this morning's shave.
